A suitably sized tire rack ensures clarity and order even with large stocks. Here you will find the right tire rack or rim rack for every need.
The tire rack - practical storage space for tires, rims and complete wheels
Anyone who sells a lot of tires, rims or complete wheels or needs to store them needs a sturdy rim rack or tire rack that can store tires of different sizes. SUV tires in particular present new challenges for older tire racks. Often the load on the shelves is the decisive problem. In order to make the best use of the available space, the tire rack or rim rack should have several levels and be easy to expand.
Tire base rack and add-on rack to suit your requirements
Planning plays an important role in a wheel/tire rack . We offer flexible systems that can be easily adapted to your requirements. The tire rack consists of an easy-to-assemble plug-in system made of galvanized sheet steel and is therefore extremely dimensionally stable and durable. The basic rack can be easily and conveniently extended using a suitable add-on rack. So if you find over time that the basic rack is no longer sufficient due to the amount of products, you can choose a suitable add-on rack and easily expand your storage space. Here, too, assembly is child's play. The rim rack or tire rack grows to suit your requirements and can be filled with the right tires, rims or complete wheels on all levels. With suitable spacers in different sizes, professional storage of all tires can be guaranteed at all times.
Shelf load and bay load: What you need to consider when planning your tire rack
When planning your tire storage, the load capacity of the tire racks also plays an important role. A distinction must be made between the field load and the compartment load. The compartment load affects one of the levels of the tire rack. Here it is important that the load is distributed evenly as far as possible in order to avoid overloading individual components. The field load, on the other hand, describes the maximum load that the entire wheel/tire rack can bear. If it is set up over several racks, the field load must be calculated individually. Our experts will be happy to advise you and explain exactly which field loads such a rack combination as a tire rack can and may bear. This way you stay on the safe side in your warehouse.
Easy access to the tire rack thanks to single-sided or double-sided storage
The storage racks can be flexibly adapted to the available space and the prevailing storage concepts. For example, there are only limitations in height insofar as the racks must be secured against tipping over above a certain height. Wall anchors and stable floor anchors are available for this purpose. You can also mount the tire racks or rim racks back to back and thus make optimal use of the available storage space. It is important not to lose sight of the individual shelf load as well as the bay load and to fill the storage racks accordingly.
Frequently asked questions about tire racks
Tire rack: mobile or stationary?
This question comes up again and again and we actually always recommend fixed storage racks to our customers. Not only do these have a larger bay load and a better shelf load, but they are also extremely durable and easier to secure. Thanks to the potential storage heights, the basic rack can be set up on many levels, so that enormous stocks are possible in a small footprint.
Would you like advice and individual planning for your tire racks?
Our tire rack basic rack does not meet your wishes or your individual requirements? That's not a problem. We would be happy to offer you professional advice from our experts. We will plan the right wheel/tire rack for you and together with you for your requirements and special needs. This way we can find suitable solutions for all types of car tires.
Should the tires be stacked lying down or is it better to store them standing up and leaning against the wall?
Stacking tires lying down will cause damage to the tires in the long run due to the material. Every tire rack is designed so that the tires can be stored in a way that protects the material as much as possible and with a small support surface. Stacking tires is therefore no longer recommended these days.
Can I mount two shelves back to back
Tire racks can of course be installed on both sides. This means you can design your warehouse according to your ideas and, for example, attach tire racks and rim racks directly to one another. This not only improves the overview, but also allows you to make optimal use of the available space.
Do you require assembly of your tire racks?
Not every company has the time, the tools and the manpower to install a tire rack system for its own warehouse. Many companies reach their limits, especially when the racks have to be built up and secured at a corresponding height. We therefore offer the option of having your storage racks installed by our experts. You can then easily equip the base rack and the add-on rack at the desired height with tires, rims or complete wheels.
